Damn - here I have the whole week between Christmas and New Year's off as paid holiday time with my new employer, and everything anywhere seems to be booked solid already or exhorbitantly expensive - including, of course, CR. Anyone have any suggestions for a good off-the-beaten path destination that won't cost an arm and a leg from L.A. - or know of any deals to CR?? Thanks in advance. GR |

From LAX to SJO. Dec 25 to 31 = $752. From LAX to SJO. Dec 25 to 29 = $696. Cheapest airfare I seen out of LAX. Both flights using LACSA. Source: www.Kayak.com Depending where you stay and how many ticas you bag, you can have the whole 4 day experience for around $1500. Give yourself that Xmas present brother. |

GR ... Tijuana is close and relatively inexpensive. With the money you save on the flight alone you can bang a dozen chicas in Adelitas or Chicago Club. The Senator |

A couple ideas. Vancouver a.k.a. Vansterdam. Recent police activity on numerous MPs and clubs (per Fiedler), the dust should be settled by Christmas. Montreal - Nice scene according to friends, including some pretty liberated strip club scenes (albeit expensive) San Miguel de Allende - Mexican artist colony and ex-pat community. Puerto Penazco / Rocky Point, Sonora Mexico - Cheap digs, great beach, hopping beach bar scene, bordello in town (quality/price unknown) called Palacio Cristal. Elko NV - The "Elephants' Graveyard" of Nevada hookers. This is the place where their careers pass away. Fun little casinos with very good food and drink. Cool mountain hiking trails/snowmobile opportunities. The Cabos? Vegas to try your luck (and I'm not talking about gamling...) Okay... I'm insomniac and just brain-storming. Nighty-night. |

Yeah, I'd probably do a TJ run. Maybe an overnighter. I got my ticket a few months ago for the Xmas-NewYears in CR. LAX to SJO was $650 w/tax. |

Montreal over the holidays is pretty happening. Lots of parties, and groups of out of towners around. One of the best strip club scenes in North America as well. |

GR...to avoid flying during the worst travel time of year from LA...yep...I would head to the Baja...but I would go well past TJ (Tijuana). From Santa Rosa beach to Ensenada there will be plenty of Latina revelers/partiers. Years ago when I lived in San Diego, I used to have some pretty good times in those parts. As always in Mexico, you have to watch you back side and wingmen are good to have...but that is the closest and cheapest foreign Latina territory for where you are coming from. AFter all, SJO can be pretty dead that week anyways even if you paid the freight. Most of the good Colombianas are back in Colombia. Of course...THERES ANOTHER IDEA...though you have to fly there. ![]() Hope you find a good holiday landing zone...Feliz navidad! PS. If you dont mind the cold...I concur with Montreal being a lot of fun. Being the Strip club affectionado I am...those French Canadian chicas are the hottest cutest dancers/entertainers I have ever seen in a strip club...and thats including more than 30 years of experience in that scene. And they are first cousins to Latinas ![]() |
