Probably a little too late to be asking since I am posting this from my bedroom here waiting for some tarde amigos (I know I spelled gringo wrong for my username =) Anyway is this place tica friendly? I didn't think any place would reject you bringing back a guest, at worst they would charge you a fee. Do I wing it and try bringing one back or do I ask the staff? We are a little bit from downtown so I am thinking they may be cool with it. ANY advice would be much appreciated! |

the book says $15 per additional person, so I guess that is the rate, oh well - I don't mind paying a little extra, we are only staying here 2 nights. |

That's for a registered guest, if you go (or call) the desk and ask they will know what you mean... |

My wingman stayed there with his Gringa girlfreind. I was there and checked it out. My sense is that this would not be a monger hotel, although the staff seemed nice and acommidating, and most seemed to speak English (in case your Spanish is not good). Call up and be direct. The hotel is lovely, great view, very classy. |

Old thread (at least I searched) - but it looks like I am doomed to stay at Le Bergerac within the next two weeks. Any further intel - and if none, how much taxi time is it likely to take to get to Central Command (HDR) - I am guessing 20 minutes? Thanks Polvo |

Make sure you have plenty of time. My experience was an appreciation of what I believe French dining to be -- not just a meal but an experience, an event to be savored and enjoyed. |
