I have to compliment Delta Airlines for trying harder.
They have reverted to free drinks on the flights to SJO and the meals out of SJO are vastly improved. I could even eat the chicken breast which was soft and succulent like I like my breasts. The free wine was good and the service friendly.
I should mention the seating in business class is very spacious so that you can recline in your seat to almost a sleeping position.

On the 767 they had a map of the route on the TV with the position and other data shown which was interesting.
Before boarding, they did a second brief hand check of every carry on bag which I did not mind at all.

And they gave out plenty of bottles of water since you could not bring any on board in excess of three ounces.

I gotta say I liked the service as well, I was impressed be the breakfast on the am flight and the speedy delivery of the bags in ATL.
