I just wanted to post this, as I'm sitting here at Miami Int'l Airport this morning, waiting to board my plane to "the other side"!

For some reason, the airport is extremely mellow today. I have no idea why. It's after 9 a.m. on a Thursday morning, and I can't believe how quiet it is here. I don't know if less people are flying nowadays or not, but this is unbelievable. I fly out of Miami about 9 - 10 times per year, and I've never seen it this quiet. I got a great parking spot in the garage with no problem. I walked to AA International Departures, and I was up to the window and checking my bag within 6 or 7 minutes. There was only a few people in line to check bags. No lines at Starbucks, Cinnabon, or any of the bars.

Oh well, at least I got a wireless signal for my laptop, especially since I've got over 2 hours to kill now! Looking forward to being knee deep in Colombiana luvin in just a few short hours!

sounds like a dream...first thing i do when booking a flight from tampa , is try my best not to stop in miami...the airport is clean but the way you must recheck your bags and they drop you off in one end or the airport and you take off at the other...once i land i get right to work..grap my bags , and get right to my gate....no stopping for food or drinks...had the dog sniffing dogs all over me ....last time i was there ....if they were looking for tica pu*sy smell ...i was busted !!!!but its great to know your in town i get in on monday and would love to hook up..as i always enjoy your posts and the information you on the gulch.....

I fly direct now from Orlando. (Martin air)
I've always tried to avoid going thru Miami .....Usually adds hours to my travel, plus it's always packed

Well, I'm here, sitting in the bar at the SL. Uneventful flight. It's good to be home again!

Stopped by ZB on the way from the airport to the SL. I counted 12 chica's, and only one gringo. Didn't session though.
