I'm thinking about booking the Irazu for my November trip. I stayed there several years ago. No chica fee or hassle, pool, much nicer rooms and facilities than the gultch hotels. The cab ride was about 10 minutes and the chicas didn't seem to mind going there at all. In fact, they seemed to relax and slow down more. Has anything changed with the Irazu? With the hassle reported at the Prez, I'm looking for alternatives and haven't heard anything about the Irazu lately. I can book online for $70 including breakfast and free drinks from 5-6PM.

Thoughts?

When you walk from Denny's into the hotel lobby there is a big sign, in English and Spanish, advising that they are opposed to prostitution and prostitutes are not welcome.

It is unclear if they are talking about the hotel in general or indicating that prostitutes are not allowed in the bar to pick up clients.

I do not know what the hotel policy is and hopefully someone will have some current information.

Well my info might be a bit dated, but I was there in March due to Taca overbooking our flights for a couple days.

I had a couple girls back at seperate times, and never had a problem. Just went to the front desk and checked them in and went up.

More people then usual eyed the thing, but that usually happens everywhere I go with them. Random people always make comments about how my "girlfriend" is smoking hot. I just laugh. Then again I am the same ol age as most of the girls, so I may blend a bit.

None the less, I dont believe their policy is against us bringing girls back

I never had a problem there. What site did you get that rate ? I can't get anything under $100 a nite.

At www.bestwestern.com. Ignore the hotel listing that says "rates from $119." When you check available rooms there will be better rates. Right now the $72 rate is available in mid-November, but it no longer shows for 1st week in November like it did last night.

I stayed there about a year ago. No problems at all. the Dennys breakfest ain't bad and the big outdoor hot tub was a nice touch. The pool is not heated and the water is alittle cold
