If your flying from DFW in October (which I hope to be) the fare is currently $478 with taxes on US Airways vs. AA $658 or Continental $656. Delta is $678. Of course you are looking at 6.5 hours of flying vs. 4 hours It is a tempting price |

If I recall correctly you are also looking at an overnight stay in Charlotte out of DFW. Can't recall if it was coming or going but ate up most of the savings the one time I tried US air.rbc100 |

That has been true in the past, but the return leaves SJO at 2:25 pm arrives DFW at 11:17pm the same day. I used 10/16-10/21 |

That is definitely an improvement Hank. The one time I flew US air I was pleased with the flights and all were on time. The layover was the only problem. Also, Charlotte is a fairly easy airport to connect through.rbc100 |

Well the low price is over now. I believe it lasted 3 or 4 days now it's back up to$640 and allnight layover in Charlotte |

Hankkh...... it's still on. I'm looking at USAIR's web site and Oct 1-6 is $478.70 total. No allnighter layovers. Berk..... |

US AIR is now doing this ´go upgrade´thing, where if there is availability in first class, you can upgrade for a small fee 30 hours prior to departure. I upgraded a 400.00 ticket to first for 150.00. Much better than the cattle car, and I don´t know of another major carrier that is doing this.....FYI |

I've been scanning for cheap fares as well. Every cheap one has a lay over of some kind. |
