Dollar Rent A Car has a good offer for a Suzuki Grand Vitra at $245 per week which includes the basic insurance. Most credit card companies (well Capital One) cover the CDW portion of the insurance. I great way to get out of the gulch and see the country.

If I was you, I would definately go beyond the basic insurance and go for the max--but, that's just me and experience of many others
