Does anyone know where to look for the cheapest flights to CR from Ft. Lauderdale? I will be going to CR for a brief 3 days at the end of oct. not sure exactly what dates. Also is there any kind of holloween festivities in CR? Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks Jaggie.

US Airways was the only carrier offering FTL/SJO service and they stopped some months ago. You have to go to MIA and the cheapest usually is Martinair. If you take US Airways from FTL you back haul through Charlotte.

A direct from MIA is probably your best bet as you do not want to back-track to DC or go to Atlanta for a cheaper fare. ID is correct, Martinair is probably the cheapest but AA is the easiest.
