I would appreciate any information on where to stay in Jaco.
There will be 5 of us planning a 3 or 4 day trip to Jaco after we've spent a couple of nights at the HDR in SJ. This would be September 18th to 21st (will be back at the HDR the 22nd and 23rd)or a day shorter. We would like something that is fairley nice with AC, cost does not really matter. Maybe something that has 2 bedroom suites. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Pogo

If you haven't done it yet, do a search. There has been much discussion and varied opinions on Jaco hotels, etc.. Have a good trip! Wile Coyote

For 5 people I suggest a villa at www.hoteltangeri.com. There are no guest fees and its a short 2 minute walk to the Beatle Bar. Nice property with good ac units, guarded gates, and a good restaurant. And no guest fees!!

Maybe not even 2 minutes. :-)

I love this place. Never stayed but I have seen the accomodations. Very nice and very convenient.

Altho the Tangeri is my favorite( there next week), the villas only have 1 bdrm, and lots of couchs. They will sleep 5/6 people, if you are ticos or a family with K*ds. No clue as to how much privacy you may need, but if it is an issue at all, you may want more than one villa, or a combination of villas/ rooms. You will love the place.

ok so 2 minutes is a slight exaggeration. Maybe 3 1/2minutes. Anymore than five minutes and you have shifted from slow speed into mosey

I recently did an extensive search for rooms, condos and apartotels in Jaco and Tangeri actually has a Grand Villa as well which has three bedrooms.
