I can't confirm all the dates (I did a few searches) but it appears to only be from Oct. 1-31. That means less seats. Don't put off those reservations. Flight 244 From Atlanta (ATL) to San Jose (SJO) Departs 10:45AM 27 OCT, Arrives 12:45PM 27 OCT, 0 Stop Boeing 737-800, Coach Class The return on Nov 1st is on a 757. Flight 247 From San Jose (SJO) to Atlanta (ATL) Departs 3:00PM 1 NOV, Arrives 8:05PM 1 NOV, 0 Stop Boeing 757, Coach Class Also note the time change after Oct 29 due to reverting back to Standard Time in the US. |

I hadn't noticed the change in planes, even though I make the same connection October 29. Actually, although there are fewer seats, I kind of think there's more room on the 737's. However, Delta completely eliminated my original flight from PHL - ATL. I was on a 6:15 am flight, which no longer exists. Now I am on a 7:30 flight, giving me less than an hour layover. Last time I had that connection I sat on the ground in Philly for an hour before taking off, circled ATL for 1/2 hour before landing, and missed my connection by 10 minutes. I will not be a happy monger if that happens again. ![]() |

As I posted in another thread: I'm curious as to how Delta is going to get a 757 to San Jose for the 9AM departure on Nov. 1st if they are making a round trip of a 737 on Oct 31st (12:45 arrival-2PM departure) and there is no evening flight coming in on the 31st? I can't imagine them flying an empty plane into Costa Rica. Very curious. |

I would switch but if I did it would probably be to USAirways, and they're not in any better shape. I wish Taca flew out of Philly, I would give them a try. |

I miss United as well. That non-stop flight via IAD was great. Changing planes and going through customs in ATL (on Delta) and MIA (on American) is a pain in the ass, MIA being the worst of the two. No issues out of CLT (on US Air) so far changing planes or going through customs, though customs did pull me out of line this past trip and searched my bag. ShyOne |

Just booked Taca for $544 in 3 weeks. AA was $130 higher. At these prices you would think it is a buyers market. The other side of the coin is that guys paying this much for airfare have no problem paying thru the penis for their p*ssy. Margaritas and Molino Rojo, here I come. |
