I really like the Amon Plaza. The standard room sounds like the same set-up as the junior suite.

Rooms....
I booked a standard room with my CRT discount and was very happy. The room had 2 queen beds, a sitting area with couch, coffee table, wing chair, sitting table, electronic safe plus locked mini-bar. The room was quiet and over looked the street with a large bay window.
Thanks for the info. That's the basic set-up of the junior suite. I guess the junior suite is a little bigger or they just gave me a standard room and told me it was a junior suite (actually the room I had was huge). I think I will book the standard room next time.
Again, the place is a very good place to stay (as long as they pay their taxes). It was weird seeing the "yellow crime scene tape" all over the building during Memorial Day Weekend.
If the special that they are running now for June and July was the normal rate, this place would be pretty close to my first choice of places to stay. As previously stated, it does not have the cheers atmosphere, but it's a good place to conduct your "business"

.
Hopefully it remains friendly to the needs of CRT. There have been a few scares lately (recent brief shutdown and potential Chica fee) but it looks like Admin and Nixon have worked all of that out.
