With higher fuel prices airlines are cutting flights run to fill up the flights they still run…

I just noticed that AA is not going to run the green season LA-SJO redeye next year …I’ve just gone from a 7 hr nighttime travel time (MRY-SJO) to a 13 hr, whole day wasting flight via Dallas or 21 hrs for an redeye via MIA…Sure am glad I have all those AA FF miles that are now useless!

TACA is now the best bet from the west coast, with an occasional $500 range flight that will go to the $700-800 range if seats are selling…but that’s SFO not MRY.

OBTW… BKK can be had for $800-900 from MRY…at 21hrs.
