Since fares in the short-term are driven by demand, this tells me that demand isn't very high right now.

I think you may be correct. At these rates its tempting to make a small 3 day trip to CR before the Labor day party.

PS how did you get that trip counter thingy?

These rates are only good through June 12th. The total is $252.72 with tax. Not a bad fare for a trip to paradise!!!!!!!

it looks like maybe the fuel cost are keeping the ticket prices up. It's $450, roundtrip from LAX now. It was around $250 last year.
