This is a great find. It's better than AA's advertised sale to Central America. In fact it's 1/2 the price, perhaps a mistake, they may have entered 1 way fares in place of the round trips. It's not available from travelocity.com, maybe only AA.com. Book fast if the city pairs and dates work for you. It's also available from Phoenix, Charlotte, and Pittsburgh, probably more. |

yes, it may be a mistake they're not aware of. better checkout the cheap tickets site and punch in some dates last year, I paid $375 total for labor day trip anyway, when I booked out of Philly (and thru Dallas/Fort Worth), there seemed to be lots of empty seats. not sure if all are on sale I come back thru Miami |

You can book directly at American Airlines site and avoid a surcharge/ticketing fee: http://www.aa.com |

I just tried to book it at $179 and got a message that the fare is no longer available at that price. It's now $358. |

Yes it's gone. The base fare has increased by $100 to $279 R/T from the 4 previously mentioned cities. Still not a bad price and it's available Labor Day weekend. |

yes, the pricing changes from moment to moment. I checked the AA site an hour before and did not see the sale posted. An hour later, there it is on Cheap Tickets. I just jumped on the fare without going back to the AA site. I bet we see some good fares in the next month or two. a lot of the sale fares I monitor on other sites expire mid June. they'll have to update thier fly dates/sale fares soon. http://search.travel.yahoo.com/bin/sear ... dc=SJO&s=p |

Orange; If you do it, take the train. PHL now has a train from thier main station to the airport. I used it last year and it works like a charm. LVSteve |

If you take the train see if you can get frequent flyer miles for doing so. You can get Continental Onepass miles on Amtrak, even elite qualifying miles. |

Yep, all 4 cities are available again for $179 and a little over $250 with taxes/fees/surcharges. You can even book it now on Travelocity.com but you'll save $10 by booking it with http://www.aa.com. If you prefer booking through Travelocity use the link on the CRT home page and help support the CRT site. |

Wingnut called me today and told me about the fare. I just searched the fares on the AOL travel site and came up with $189 R/T through Miami or Dallas. When I checked the AA site, I came up with $279. For those who are coming from North Jersey or NYC, you can take the train to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, and then catch the R1 regional rail to PHL. The train stops at each terminal. |

guys, the prices and origination sale prices keep changing. just keep checking the multiple sites. sometimes one may show it and another doesn't. and yes, if aa.com has it posted, you can usually save another $10 or so in extra fees. it is my guess that we will see low fares offered on an on and off basis for the next month of so. in any event, hope we all get a chance to visit CR again |

It's really a sick feeling to see how bad we get shafted if we have to use Newark... the (#&(^%*%$)*& airlines... It's not even one hour from EWR to PHL! Muff |
