I just check the airfare for the flights I booked last November leaving for CR in three weeks. The current rate is $710 round trip. It has been in the $400-475 range until recently. Booking today would still give me the 14 days in advanced fare. Thank you frequent flyer miles!

The same flight is now $650 !!! Ouch!!

Hope the prices come down before my next trip, they are going to tap into my play money

I just booked a flight from San Jose, California to SJO with Delta for $475. That's about the cheapest I've seen. I'll be in town from May 29 - June 5.

I think everyone should jump all over any fare below 500$

Yes, Keroseneflat is right. Got an alert from travelocity and the fare was the same as he mentioned from SJO to LAS and back. Waited for maybe 3 hours and all the seats were gone. He who hesitates - well, you know.

Yesterday I booked a round-trip from Boston on Travelocity (Delta) for $327 including fees, April 19 - 26. Interestingly I tried to book the same flight from Delta.com for 1000 bonus miles but could not get that price.

How insane is the airline fare structure becoming when you can fly to San Jose from Boston for $97.00 less than it would cost from Miami.
