Aight CRT I call upon your assistance!

I have 250$ U.S, in Taca travel vouchers remaining. In order to use these travel vouchers, you have to book your ticket at a Taca office. That includes Miami, San Fran, Chicago, New York, Boston, Houston, and more.

Since I live absolutaly no wheres near any of these places, and to get there would end up costing me a crap load, I have a possible proposal for a CRT member.

According to Taca, I can have the name on the travel voucher changed for no fee. It requires me sending a letter of authorization, a photocopy of my passport, and the travel voucher to whoever is going to use the voucher, and then them bringing it into a Taca office and changing it over.

Now, Im wondering if any of you fella's especially those of you that book with Taca, and live in one of those fine cities with Taca Centers would mind swapping the voucher for cash or something?

Its not impossible for me to use them, it would just involve alot of money, work, and luck on my side.

Anyone interested?

Last Augusr, TACA overbooked my returned flight to Los ANgels. They asked me if I could stay in Costa Rica 1 more day since the same flight next day was fine. I agreed and received $600 in TACA vouchers. I used $500 of those a few weeks ago for another trip. When I arrived in San Jose my suitcase did not. It would up on a different flight and took a detour through Panama or someplace. In any event, they found my suitcase and I had it about 6 hours later. They gave me another $100 voucher for the "inconvenience". As I'm approaching the TACA counter to board my flight back to LAX a couple weeks ago a TACA agent comes up to me and asks if I'd like to fly 1st Class. Turns out....again...they overbooked my flight to LAX. There was another flight to LAX leaving at about the same time but makes a 30 minute stop in Guatemala. No getting off the plane or changing planes or nothing. So I said "fine" and flew home 1st class. I REALLY like TACA!!!!

On the plus side of everything Hotel Irazu is a pretty decent hotel that I would have NEVER tried out if it hadnt been for Taca.
