I'm going to San Jose on 3/30 and want to check out Jaco on the same trip. Anyone have any suggestions for hotels and bars?

Welcome to the board. I'll try to put this as gently as I can. I like helping out the new guys probably as much as anybody here, but you haven't done any research, have you? There is a search button towards the top of the page. It's free of charge to all members, but some don't seem to want to use it. :D

Depending on your budget, the Canciones del Mar is very nice and on the beach. I think it is in the $80-$90 range. As far as girl action, you have to settle for the Beatle Bar. Just be sure and take a hot shower after leaving there. And as I have suggested before, check out Calle Bohio on the weekends. A lot of the girls stay in the cabinas on that street and at the end on the corner is a bar on the beach where the girls hang out at times. As soon as I can find a suitable house with a pool, that will be the new hangout. hehe
