This is where many chicas stay. So, its probably cheap and a little shitty. I went into a room once to wake some of them up.... a little dumpy, but the sports bar is great.

I was hesitant to post this since it is all second hand knowledge from a non-monger friend who visits CR once or twice yearly. I might spend a couple of days in Jaco toward the end of May and was asking him for his suggestions. He mentioned Clarita's as an option.

I could not find anything on here (CRT) about it but according to my non-monger friend it's not that bad. Again, this is second hand knowledge, but they reportedly have two classes of room. Their cheapest are kind of dumpy, no AC, no frills, basically a bed and bath for about 20 - 30 per night. He said surfer dudes crash in these rooms but I'm sure chicas could use them as well. But their upgraded rooms have AC, ceiling fan, TV. And they are right on the beach.

If I decide to get away from SJ for a night or two I might just opt for Clarita's as a change of pace. If I do, I will surely file a report, but that won't be for about two months ... not that I'm counting the days or anything.
