just booked a r/t on Taca (through that ticotravel.com site) for $320 incl all taxes, 3/23 - 3/28, out of miami. Definitely the least costly out there right now.

Tico Travel is a wholesaler and frequently have prices that can not be matched on any of the airline or travel sites as Orbitz, Expedia, etc.

Use to use them all the time when I lived in Miami. Certainly would suggest you give them a try when ever traveling to San Jose. They are in Ft. Lauderdale so not sure if they have prices for TACA for other than Miami.

I just looked up NY-SJO and I was quoted $666 on Taca, the same flights that I can book at taca.com today for $522. :lol: :lol:

I guess NY is not their specialty, but it's a nice profit for them ($144). :roll:

Poor choice on the wording... let me rephrase:

I was quoted $666 by TicoTravel to fly on Taca 660/661, the same flights that I can buy on Taca.com for $522 (and which should be about $100 cheaper in about a month).

My bad.
