With the snow in the Northeast, flights were cancelled to and from SJO and JFK and I think Newark. Who knows where else.

Our members here could not get home to New York and connecting areas.

One member phoned the Presidente upon learning his flight from SJO to JFK was cancelled and was able to get a room.. Talk about lucky.

Let us see how long this mess continues. Further a lot of people who were to start a trip from the Northeast are going to have to remain home and loose their deposits.

What a mess. By the way the weather here is clear blue skys and beautiful. I hope I do not get sunburned visiting the countryside tomorrow.

Entire Northeast is snowed in Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Newark, New York & Boston.

For those guys who are unable to leave SJO for home it is your civic duty to step up to the plate and replace those guys who are snowed in. The chica economy is dependent on you guys to carry out your duty. It is an unpleasant task but you have to give of yourself in times of weather emergencies.

I sure hope whoever is in my room at SL gets out by thursday as I am not too keen on sharing with some hairy dude fro NY or Boston.
