I'm watching for lower fares for my May trip. This is substantially lower than the $600 plus I've been seeing, but I think I'll hold out for something lower. Plus, I'd rather fly out of Philly, where at least part of my trip could be non-stop.

If you haven't done it already set up alerts on Travelocity and Expedia.

They'll send you an email when the fare gets down to your price.

Get the alerts, then go directly to the carrier's website to check their current price!

US AIRWAYS flights stop in Charlotte and from there they are nonstop to CR. 4 hours from Char to SJ

They never go down to my price... then again $100 is probably unrealistic.
