You go boy!

+1 to Jett's opinion below. Oh....and there's a lot more to it than simply "....Boyd got fired...." (despite the posts from my esteemed colleague Zunbake3 who has posted he has had direct email contact with Bktuna who has employed, it seems, LAW #1 of the Streets: MASSIVE DENIAL: "WHAT ME? DO SUCH A THING? HOW COULD YOU EVEN SUSPECT THAT?! WE'RE FRIENDS!!!!!; blah, blah, blah, blah....").

HLH will continue to improve, but as everyplace in CR, it will have its peaks and valleys.
Life is too short to discuss this any longer!
Let's put the topic of "T" back in CRT! Lol

Nah, I say we keep it going.

Boyd was not just a manager of HLH, he was like family among many of you.

It's amusing to me that we as mongers go to very edges of the earth to dig up the hottest puta gems for the least amount of money. No stone is unturned and every find is talked about and debated. Dudes are willing to get robbed, mugged, and in some cases shot in bad sections of San Jose just to find that hidden "10" piece of ass. But when it comes to a guy who for all intents and purposes is part and parcel of a SJO institution, and the guy skips town and is "released from employment," we're supposed to just move on?

We are P4P detectives, gentlemen! Is it any wonder this whole Boyd thing doesn't pass the smell test. Wise up, fellas! You can detect an RFM from a mile away but you can't see the mess that just went down? I ain't gonna lie, I'm curious as hell. Besides, what's the harm in saying "Boyd was fired for cause?" We would mumble, gripe and then go back to our monger lives. But NOOOOOOOOO! Instead, we get the "Mistakes may have been made, please return to normal" line.

Bottom line: Boyd got fired. I could only imagine that if I were in a situation like Boyd, I would want my "friends" to know that I'm alright. I would come out and thank my "friends" for their kindness to me, my family and the CRT community through the years. On the opposite side, I would expect my "friends" to have my back. I would expect my "friends" to actually WANT to know what happened to me since they actually give a damn or at least said that they did when times were good. Since neither side is saying anything the speculation and stories will persist.

Since the prosecution is HLH management, the burden of making this right falls to them. I say it's best to deal with this right now, squash the rumors and innuendo and move on.

We're grown men here, we can handle it!

Edit Purpose: Place quotation mark in proper place......can't have the hall monitor on my ass! :P :P :P :P  8)

Brother, I mean CRT member S1 (sorry about that, got carried away). I am not saying Boyd did or did not do something real bad, the most important thing to me, and this is only my view, is that Boyd was always "Johnny on the spot" customer service wise at either the Dunn Inn or HLH, and that's all I care about. I spends my hard earned cash I needs to be treated like a valued customer unlike some other hotelier i used to patronize in the area. In my opinion and experience, The Amistad Staff provide that required level of service for me. So ipso fatso dat be where Iz goes! BTW, I promised Rodolfo some shirts!

My dad always told me '' There is a time to work and there is a time to play" "and you can not do both at the same time". As I have stated I have witnessed many a man's downfall because they did not live by this
way of life. The signs were there and I myself had noticed some of the pitfalls that could cause a strong man to fail. A manager running an establishment such as the HLH most certainly should not drink while working .
There are too many crisis of a personal nature that arise where the manager has to act as a referee. Yes I drink a beer here and there but it does not consume or control my life. People do not make rational decisions when drinking , even if they do the other party may not agree and say you are drunk. Work and Play do not mix. I hold no hard feelings with HLH and yes I like Boyd and hope whatever the problem it gets resolved to everyone's satisfaction. I know some of owners of HLH . If it had not been for the BP oil spill I would have probably been one.

Oh man....it's ALL good.....I was rattling your cage! I don't have much if any experience with Bktuna or any of his actions. I only get information about his activities. I have never stayed at HLH; I have never stayed at Dunn Inn; Bktuna has been nothing but cordial to and with me in my few interactions with him when I STOPPED IN HLH or saw him at SL or wherever.....but that's it. However, he did titty twist one of my "man cans" once and I still suffer emotional and psychological trauma over the incident. It's a brick in the wall of the world I've created that Muco Gutto posted earlier about. *sniffle*  :P :P :P

I done a LOT of REAL BAD stuff in my life. I just hide it better, I guess! *shrug*

I was in HLH last week around 2pm on a Friday. There is this one Jackass going crazy and yelling at the Ladies.Drinking shot after shot. Yelling at the top of His lungs. Telling me and others that He has enough money to buy HLH. I saw Him take a $20 out and toss it on the floor at the Ladies and yelling and cursing. Then He tossed a $100 bill at them. He is AA about 30 years old. What a F N Asshat. Next time I see Him in there. I will just turn around and leave.IMHO Mgr should have asked Him to leave.

Dale Ray that is the type people that go" Postal". It would be best for management to catch him sober
when he walks in and show him the way out. That type of person could really be dangerous. Hopefully he
will never return. There was an incident of a few men causing a problem at the Done Inn a couple of years ago. The mentality never changes, just a new group of idiots arrive every so often.
