Sid: I think everyone appreciates the offer you have extended to the board for tips only from the airport and that things have been going well except for a few growing pain glitches.

I am curious, what has been the lowest tip you have been given so far?

The lowest tips so far was $0 from SJO to San Jose. I said nothing to the guy.
Also, took someone to past Atenas way up in the mountains for 5 mil. again, I said nothing because I advertise, just4tips.
Both times I paid for parking, not much but $2.28 per hour.
I not complaining about those. But 3 trips with no show, no call. One trip the guy changed his flight to 2 days later and didn't let me know. I understand people get busy when traveling. Hell, in the last year, I have missed 2 flight leaving Costa Rica because I was a day late. So, I understand some people are probably like me, have too much going on and forget sometimes. This is the reason I now have a scheduler on my laptop, touchpad and phone. I never want to miss an appointment with a client.

Thanks for you input ********. Business model is working great. Picking up more and more CRT members, providing a great service and I have still not asked anyone for a dime, which I am very proud of. Now to take it one step further, each member gets free drinks and Free cell phones to use on their trip. I offered the same thing on your site and you kicked me off. That's one reason I decided to spend my advertising dollars here and will spend more in the future. I think your idea is awesome. The next time I am coming to SJO I will make arrangements to catch a ride from one of the Goodfellers. And a 20 $ tip for a ride from the airport is a deal for us and a opportunity to get out of the house for Dog. Anyone that would stiff him is one low class operator. Just my 2cents

Hey Cracker, thanks for the comments. I too am from Georgia originally. Born and raised their. My parents always taught me to treat people as you would like to be treated. In business I learned at an early age to give the clients more than the expect. This is my business model. Sure anyone can catch a ride from SJO to the Gulch for about $30, (less if you are own a budget and take the bus). I like to make it an experience. Friendly face waiting for you at the airport. Cold beer, water, soft drinks or fine Costa Rica coffee waiting for you. FREE cell phone with minutes already added, so you will have your number before you even get here to Costa Rica. Nice clean comfortable ride. Not in a hurry and can stop by Walmart or other stores to get your supplies for the room if you wish. Great conversation to update you on Costa Rica and the Gulch. And I know the shortcuts (not running up the meter) so we can get you to your room safe and sound. All for whatever you want to tip. Someone asked earlier what was the lowest and highest tip. The lowest was zero and the highest was $50

I do understand this is not for everyone. Not a problem. I just think I serve the finest steak in town. Some prefer chicken. And ******** sent me an email when he kicked me off his site, wanting to know what kind of scam I was running. Maybe he should ask the many members who have used my service and repeat CRL members.

I came into town on Dec. 6, and One Lucky Dog was out there waiting patiently for me. He has a nice comfortable and spacious vehicle (make and model escape me) and when he found that I had a sore throat he went by Walmart to get me a packet of soothing mints. He also picked up another 2 guys at the airport and they bought their booze at Walmart as the duty free shop at SJO was closed.
We all 3 apprieciated his efforts . He also had cold beer and soft drinks for us.
I will be going back to the airport with him.

Gentlemen:
I have had about enough of this shit tonight... I allowed this to go on for five pages when its not even an advertiser / sponsor and that is my fault.. I should have stopped this from the beginning now its taken a life of its own.

So simple we will use what we have always used here there will be NO SOLICITATIONS OF ANY KIND on this forum. Simple enough. If your an advertiser, if your a sponsor you have your threads to respond to issues pro and con and people can then make up their own minds with regards to your establishment.

This type of business model unfortunately will not be able to be utilized in this forum. End of story. This thread is now Locked and any type of resurrection of it will be handled swiftly.
