FYI, I have taken the shuttle bus (Steven1's site) before. This last time, supposedly the bus wasn't working. I think the driver had a problem. They taxied me into town. Took an hour bcs I was waiting for another ride (20 min) then 40 minutes for the guy to get confirmation from the driver. I wasn't happy.

YO! http://www.shuttlebus.co.cr/ is not MY site. It's just intel I've provided to the message board. I've used it ever since I found it, too. That outfit works a deal with a InterBus....so InterBus is the one who stumbled on your last sortie. However, it reads like they made a pretty good effort to rectify the problem.

http://www.shuttlebus.co.cr/ for me is preferable to the InterBus web site and process because it's process is so much easier than the nonsense InterBus puts you through.....; the communications are far superior; and PayPal can be used to make payment giving one recourse if it should be necessary. If I ever have a problem, I'll be most certain to notice http://www.shuttlebus.co.cr/ and I'm sure they'll do something about it.

Then again, Dean, you do keep finding yourself in these kinds of problems, eh?!! :?:

Grayline is good also. They have a desk inside the lobby of the Clarion wiht a good agent who speaks English. Pricing and service is similar to Interbus,

Just to follow up.. I used them from the airport..to tamarindo and then to jaco all for $50 bucks and they were always on time not 5 minutes late or early.. right on time..They have a special going were your ¨third¨ transfer is free.. so maybe if your interested..you could use them for a trip from the airport to SJ...then to jaco..and then back from jaco to san jose..I think that would be like $50...The trip back from jaco.. would be a freebie..
