Dude you got it completely wrong.

A) I was pointing that the thread went of course. I never signed off. And others point that out on their topics also. So its no biggie if I voice that.

B) I never said you dont like ticas, I said you had a different taste, and a different mentality. We all do. I was trying to get the guys off your back and with some of the comments made. WHat I cant point out that you have a different out look on things then some of us. You made it clear in the past, and I respect that you do things different. Some guys like big tits, some like small tits. In all the threads that I write if I give my opinion I always say no offense meant just stating my opinion, so you tell me what gives and why when I was trying to just get some guys to relax like with the statement where to send the body bag to in the US, you instead get on my case???

Staven, the exclusionist intent of your use of the terms "most of us" and "we" is clear:

OK, bottom line.... some people like the Prez. others like SL.
They both have there pros and cons. Go where you like and have a good time.

Whether you like it or not I did not come here to pick a verbal fight with you nor do I have anything against you. I honestly think you just look at things different and it works for you. If you got offended by what I said yet someone telling you to give the address to send the bodybag is cool by you then go for it. Get on my case. As of now you are right I am singing off the thread. This is not what I started this thread for. YOu dont even know who I am, yet you judge me for a sentence when I am trying to be nice. I could very well state that you insulted almost all of the CRT guys with your courtesean thread where you hinted that most of the girls that we go to bed with dont live up to your standards. But of course that was ok since it was you stating that and those of us that felt different were on the recieving end. HOpefully on a different thread we wont get on each others nerve as much as this one.

Cyrano, the simple fact that you get so many hits on that subject should tell you something even if you don't read any of them. But you don't even need to do a search. Just scroll down the page in the Security and Scam section of the forum and you will see at least half a dozen threads with likely titles on this subject. The authorities have even initiated a special program to deal with the problem which should also tell you something since you should be aware of the glacial speed at which they normally act. If they've finally decided to do something ou can be sure it is a serious problem. What you can't be sure of is whether they'll take any serious action that will make much difference in the short term if at all.

Prolijo, thanks for the advice. That section was helpful - I was thrown off by the "Sexual..." start of it. Interesting that things have gotten worse since May. Sounds like it makes a difference which side of the street you walk on, and that the bus crowd is a risk instead of security. Funny, but last trip I got in the habit of walking on the non-bus side, and even walking over a block to Calle 7 to get to the Prez. Seemed less traveled yet safer for some reason. Might be my spidey sense from all those years in NYC.

In just over a week, I will be making my way between the BM and the Prez and the Marazon for several days. I'll report back, if I survive.

It is, of course, a question of personal preferences. Just as some people prefer TLN and others prefer short term, as some prefer threesomes and others prefer GFEs.

But I prefer the Presidente:

- it is cheap. You get a fantastic room for less than $60 including taxes with the CRT discount. It includes an excellent breakfast.

- there is nothing like having breakfast at the rail in the morning. the lignthing is magnficent then, and so is the eye candy

- i always have work to do while I'm down there - reports to write and such. It is a comfortable place to work.

- it's a very pleasant walk to Oasis from there

- I like being on Avenida Central, with all the stores and activity. To me this is classic Costa Rica

SL is good for meeting people. But I don't like being in a hotel that exclusively caters to mongers.

My two cents.

No problems. I survived. The walk to the Morazon was easy, and to the Prez was more or less like May. But two locals did warn me that it could be dangerous, particuarly past about 10:30pm.

After one night at the Morazon, and seeing my friend's "Jr Suite" at the HDR, I appreciate the Prez all the more!
