Last I talked to Leo, the room discount is only offered during offseason. But...if you talk to Leo, the $20 visitor fees are still waived for CRT VIPs. I am assuming that we are now in high season..

I book thru Barbara also. But, please remember she is a Canadian gringa in the Toronto area. I've never discussed my party plans (chica fees) with her. That is just inviting resistance. Wile Coyote

Those of us who play by the rules there have no problems. As far as I know, ALL of the beach hotels have different rates for high season or offer discounts ONLY during off season. This is common practice, not bad business. It is called Free Enterprise. Chica fees are still a good savings...and even in high season I believe the Copa is a good value for the rates compared to other area hotels. Again...just my opinion. Some may like Tangieri better...thats fine. Not for me.

Its all good. Pura Vida...relax and enjoy.

PS. I DONT book through Barbara. Leo is your man for discounts.

It has always been LEOS thing to continue to waive Chica Fees for CRT members. Discounts will be honored in off season and see Leo for any problems with Chica fees. NOTE DONT MENTION TO BARBARA!

I have stayed for years in and out of season at the Copa and have always e mailed Leo direct and have never had an issue with the CRT rate or the chica fee. Being in the same business as the Copa, I can understand to some degree why the don't discount during peak season, they don't need to.

Waving the chica fee, is at least a good thing combined with the location. To each his own, I have always been treated well there as have the 20 or so people I bring each visit.

ADMIN 1 ... Will Katia or Mario give the CRT discount at Copa? Personally, I always get a discount from them because we are friends , but last July Mario told me he didn't know anything about CRT or it's discount.
