Hopefully all the spy cameras in the ceilings of the rooms were taken out.

Any new information regarding the reopening of the the hotel? Would like to reserve in the fall if it is open, or am I being too optimistic?

I was able to stick my head in the front door on saturday and the only thing that I could see from that was they removed some of the furniture in the lobby area....so if the work is being done to the rooms near the restaurant area we could not see it.
So we walked away from what we seen saying did they just start today

All rooms are completed, waiting on a last permit for bar restaurant (see previous post.

Of the easy way is to call Darren, 8994 6786, and ask for a tour.

Just saying

I wrote about this after a November trip. Was looking thru the window, a worker saw me and asked if he could show me around. There were about 7-8 guys working on the place. Some of the place was like a dust cloud..they were sanding down the old wood floors. Went in several rooms and the bathrooms had really nice tile work with large walk-in showers (all new). Great potential--just alot of work........but I suppose one might have a better vantage point by....."sticking their head in the front door"...

And the $60,000 dollar question is, what is the status and reopening of the Hotel Castillo?
