The CRT forum is one of the finest organizations for men that I have found. The men are fair, firm, good natured, funny, and also sometimes flaming. Their is more actual support for men, by men, than in 99% of the world. It is very unusual for men to actually support men. IMHO, one of the reasons that I read, and support being a CRT VIP (the only board that I have ever paid for). I will proudly become a liftime VIP when eligible, even if I never make another trip to CR. I appreciate this board for the opportunity of giving me a "soap box" when I have a charge about a subject. It allows me to go into myself and come out better man for it. Thanks guys!

These black guys were being openly racist towards white people.
Udo, racism is a sad part of life of life, not only from whites towards blacks, but people against people. People assimilate to those that they have the most in common with. Do you live in a predominately minority neighborhood? IMHO, racism is actually physically acting out against another person of a different race, just because of their race. Words are just words. If I choose not to take them in, they mean nothing to me. Have you never made a "racist" remark in your life? I seriously doubt that you have never made a racist remark. Your remark below could be considered racist if I choose to look at it that way. IMHO, you probably have made a racist remark, does that make you a racist. Not to me. Nor do I in anyway wish this to be taken as I believe that ID made racist remarks, I do not.

I have experience in the bad areas of Chicago
Udo, is this a racist statement? What in your judgment makes these a "bad areas"? A vast majority of the people living in these "bad areas" are wonderful people, who would do no harm to anyone, no matter what race that person is. If I believe the preceding sentence, you could easily be construed as a racist? Again, I could make it a racist statement, but I choose not to make that my belief. My point is (especially written) words, can be interpreted by others, without the intent of the writer being known, or understood. This does not make the writer of those words right, nor wrong. It is just my judgment of the words that the person has written.
From a great majority, if not all posts about ID being a racist, you appear to be in the vast minority. The judgement of the majority is not in line with yours. It takes a big man to admit to himself, first, that his judgment about something could have been a misintrepretation of what was written/said. Especially from the intent that the writer has stated afterwords. That does not make you wrong. It is unfortuante that in our world, my judgment needs to be right or I am less than as a man. Of course, you are welcome to your judgment, but that does not make it right, nor wrong. As a man I have to often "puffed my chest out", when a simple apology would have made me even a bigger man, both to myself and others.
My intent is not to bust balls, but that it caused me to look at how my judgment of what others say, and do, is not absolutely right, nor does it have to be. My post here is neither right, nor wrong, it is just my judgment. Thanks to all of you.
Again, just the ramblings of an old fat man. No back to reading about poosey.
