There are no parking lots at the hotel. They may have a deal with one of the nearby public lots as some of them are open 24/7. I think you would have to contact the hotel to get accurate info.

If I want to inquire about booking a room at this hotel, do I attempt to first hunt down the tico times coupon or do I just negotiate the best rate and then look for this coupon once in SJ? While I walked through the casino floor and spent 5 minutes in the sportbook, I never inquired as to the accomodations during my brief visit.

The hotel isn't bad at all. Great location. However, I would go elsewhere for food. I always eat at SL. They have a good breakfast. Especially the pancakes! :)

Witkowski, do you follow me around to post about pancakes? I have had the SL pancakes, they are decent but certainly not worth posting about.

MIA2MWR,

Not following you around. However, I do love the cakes at SL.

Paco,

No kidding. News Cafe has some good cakes. Of course, all of their food is good.

Speaking of food, has anyone tried the pink snapper at ZB? I got some rare and it was great!!!!

I own a small diner in New Hampshire. I must admit that my cakes are the best! I don't go to SJ for the food but it is nice to get something good to eat (other than the snapper).

Mia,

Why are you so belligerent?

JW- I am not belligerent. Forgive me if I have appeared that way. But last week you are talking about johnnycakes- pointed out by another learned member of the forum as a Sopranos reference. And now you own a diner in New Hampshire? Isn't that where Vito was when he was discovering these "johnnycakes"?
If you are a culinary expert I find it odd that you feel so strongly about the pancakes at the SL. Cool bar, Golden Tee, but the pancakes I had were not spectacular.

I live in New England! Everyone here calls them johnnycakes! I've never seen the Sopranos so I don't know what you are talking about.

I've never been to New Hampshire but I am friendly with some diner owners in Connecticut and I have never heard that term but for the Sopranos. :?:
