Best Western doesn't charge a chica fee. They have excellent security as well. I got roofed by a tica in Feb. and they went after her.

What was the result of the hotel going after the woman? Were your items returned? Tux

All she took was a single CC. She ran several hundred on it at the mall and McDonalds. I think it was the McDonalds charges that tipped my bank account manager off that it wasn't me charging on the card. She froze the card up immediate, even before I got a hold of her.

She still ran up a bundle, however, every penny was reimbursed by the CC Co.

All in all, I came out ok and learned a good lesson...

- Don't accept a drink from anyone other than a CRT bro.
- Don't get too wasted when mongering
- Lock up your CC's and wallet and only carry enough cash to get you your fantasy for the night.

Cheers Maje,

I have to second what the others have said. No fee & very nice accomodations. I'll be staying there again in December. It's just around the corner from Zona and an easy walk [well for me] to the DR or very cheap taxi ride.

Likemike,

Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson, or Micheal Moore?

Do you mean "multiple chicas" or a steady stream of differnet chicas?

Sportsmen Lodge is good for multi-chica fun, no fee. How many chicas can you fit in a room? How many can you afford?

having trouble deciding which one of these to stay at ...
this whole fee thing is confusing..
any suggestions?

1. del ray (it was mentioned that some women won't be seen there?)
2. clarion hotel amon ( so there is a single $10 fee for guests?, but they don't limit your guests?)
3. presidente (limit to 1 guest?)

I think it is hotelnuevojohnson.com.I stayed there my first night last rip before I hooked up with my freind I was staying with in Escazu. It is very basic but fairly clean and definitely for the budget minded.Probably the best the best $10 hotel in San Jose. The Doral just around the corner is a lot nicer at about $25 per night without breakfast or $3 more with but has a $5 chica fee. There are posts on both under this section.rbc100
