Estellamar in Jaco isn't so bad and it is cheap. I get the little villas for 47 a night that has a kitchen and bedroom.
Their official policy is no chicas, but they make exception to this for me (guess because I'm so good looking

). Seriously, with lots of people in your group, the guard in the parking lot would have a hard time knowing what is what so getting a few chicas in wouldn't be a problem. The Estellamar is however a place to go back to sleep, not party. Party in the Monkey Bar and the Beatle Bar and there is a bar in the middle of town that stays open until 3 or 4 or until everyone leaves... after partying then go to sleep but this is the case for most hotels in Jaco. You'll see the same faces in all 3 bars, however not that many working girls go to the Monkey Bar and the middle of the town disco/bar.
Beatle Bar closes first, then the Monkey Bar which is a football field away from the Beatle Bar and then the other bar closes.
The Estellamar has an outdoor bar that serves food by the pool at night.
The guard in the parking lots doesn't speak English so he never said anything to me about chicas - he starts working after dark (just like the chicas in Jaco).
The Beatle Bar will start to get busy around 8:30. If anyone wants a chica during the day, there is an international phone calling place (doubles as an internet cafe) across the street from the Beatle Bar (upstairs) - this is one of the places they hang out calling family during the day.
I like Jaco, but I've not been there during green season which seems to be warmer than the dry season. After this next visit (Aug 29-Sept 3) I might not like it at least part of the year.
(Eliana - get out of here!)
