I know it's a little late but you were really panicking about that trip, I've been going to Sjo for about 7 years and have gone there about 2 to 3 times a year and I had never had a problem but I am single. I have never stayed at hdr bc that's ground zero and it could be a little overwhelming but I've stayed at la amistad and sportsmen. I'm single but still don't want anybody else knowing my business back in the states. I.e work or friends and family... when I'm there I don't take any type of picture, no social media and if they ask me where I stayed, I usually tell them I stayed at the Hilton... if you google search la or sportsmen, you will def find some type of comment about the women that frequent these hotel.
