More important question for me is..does Sportsmen's Lodge have air-conditioner in their rooms? I don't remembered anyone mentioning this or maybe I missed it in previous posts. Got to have the A/C in my room. 8)

Okay. I can't keep my mouth shut anymore. Me and my Tica girlfriend wetre guest for 3 nights at New Years. The first night we got a telephone call to "please hold down the noise". Regular sex noises, I think. Wre were there for the New Years Eve Party. And I was a guest all New Years Eve night so...here is my report. I told my girlfriend about the promise of a girl for every guy....and we both "felt the pain for the guys whom showed for the party, had a drink, saw no girls, and left. Alone on New Years Eve due to the promise by Sportsmans Lodge. Bill and Ray are nice guys. The building has a lot of character. But, this is NOT a monger hotel. My two cents. Suit yourself. If you like it, great! I wish much success to the SL.

I suppose this depends on what you call a "monger hotel". I would think that no chica fees, comfortable and clean accomodations, close promity to the BM, and hospitable staff meet my criteria for a monger hotel. And if I'm making too much noise while sharing some quality time with a chica, I guess I need to break out the muzzle.

Sportsmens Lodge does not have in room safes.....but they are more than happy to put a sealed envelope with your name in the safe at the reception desk........I never had any problem accessing night or day as it is staffed from 8 AM until 2AM daily.....

Great place to stay, make your reservations early if you want to stay there, becoming THE place to stay in San Jose.
