Brandon, great news about the WIFI!! I remember when I used to stay at the Mona Lisa several years ago before the security issues the WIFI was real weak in the rooms. Had to work in the lobby area to get any signal. I hope this is a good sign of great things to come at the Property. Guy deserves a good property to be affiliated with!

Terrific Zunbake...please report on your upcoming stay. I'll be shooting for a possible stay in February.

Yes, and they are still taking reservations through the existing Mona Lisa website.

Admin3 - Thanks for the quick reply.

Sounds like there moving in the right direction. I'll be staying mid Nov. for 5 days. Look for a review when I return.

Plans are to have the bar remodeling done in time for the Halloween party on Saturday. So, I expect you will see some positive changes for November.

Thanks, for the info. Do you know if the rooms are redone yet? The ML is Chica friendly, yes?

I hope that they will take security (i.e secure in room safes) seriously than they did at the Mona Lisa. That was a deal breaker for me.

Agreed and to think no one was ever identified as the thief or more likely thieves when there could not have been that many suspects. It seems the desk man had to be one of the thieves

It seems that they are really highlighting the point that the previous security staff and managers have been replaced.

What will the smoking policy be? Allergic to it. Even if room has been cleaned and soaked with stinky air freshener perfume.

Guy Grand and his new GM Brant (very professional and polished young man) showed me the newly renovated rooms. They looked real nice and spacious. The price points look really good as well. Looks like some real positive stuff is going to happen here! Also, new modern safes are installed in these rooms and Guy explained the previous security issues and I am convinced it has been resolved.

If there's one guy who is on the case, it's Guy. He does a great job and it really concerned on our comfort/safety. Hope it goes well for them but the whole project still needs work.
