I agree with Rac-- there are better places to stay, but for the $$ Morazan has some positives also. I have posted this before but-- some of the rooms are much better than others, I always thought rooms #410 and #415 were about the the best standard rooms. Don't worry-- you will have a great time.

Just got back from sj. Stayed at the Morazan for 7 days. Yes there were the usual problems...elevator not working. My room was facing A1 and it gets noisy, but I love having that so-call balcony. It is great for people watching...rate the chicas the mongers bring back to the hotel  :? . That patch of sidewalk between the dr parking and morazan is a piece of shit. It's a sight to behold watching the chicas, with their highheels, trying to navigate that route :D . It's great entertainment. In the morning you could check-out the sexy latinas(not the chicas) going to their 9-5 job...some of them are really hot.

The staff were helpful and I was not charge for bring a chica back or the use of the safe.

Will I stay there again..yes. I love the location, central to everything. It was my first time to sj and I walk everywhere.

cheers,
Attila

They charged me a few bucks each day to use the safe in the room last September. I thought that it was kinda "cheap" of them to nickel-and-dime their guests. The TV remote didn't work either. On balance, there are much better places to stay.

And alot of them do. My favorite, Sleep Inn, wants $7 to rent a computer cable, so if you plan on staying there and I highly recommend it, bring your cable. They don't charge for the room safe.
