Why not post this every few weeks for those of us who missed it the first few times?

Once again not to speak for ownership as I have no Dog in this fight. Everyone likes Scott, I spoke to him yesterday and he's fine. He has no issue with the Dunn Inn, guy or the other owners. Lets just say without the bashers and the haters from hijacking you have absolutely no idea what he was hired to do, whether he accomplished his goal or whether or not he was capable of handling the duties he was asked to do.

Leave it alone We all like Scott but liking someone does not constitute without having 1st hand knowlege of the reasons allow the continued bashing here.

There is a new GM in place and they didn't see eye to eye hence a business decision was made. please don't speculate because as much as I know you want to defend good people it doesn't always translate into the reasons they were hired or relieved.

It just irritates the hell out of me when another member cries to admin for censorship when it rocks his boat. Personal Attacks on CRT members should not be allowed. But any venue is open game for their failures.

Hey 59 vette, its ironic that you feel personally attacked. Admin just busted you for a personal attack via an unsubstantiated rumor. Nobody is stopping you from venting about the Dunn Inn. Just start your own topics, and stop hijacking every thread that someone has relating positive experiences at the Dunn.

You need to let go of the anger, my friend. Its bad for your health. I would hate to see you bust an aorta over the Dunn INN.

Scott and Guy are GREAT!.. They are the number one reason why I will be staying at the Dunn Inn on my next trip. They went out of their way to accomadate me at Ricks cafe and even gave us a private tour of the hotel. We will diffently be back!

ummmmm, Scott gave you a tour? You might want to re-think that.

Six months ago, I tried to book Sportsmens for Superbowl weekend, but it was sold out. I like staying in that area so I booked Dunn Inn for the first time. I had never been there so I booked a queen room. Upon arrival, the front desk was very pleasant and efficient and I proceeded to my room. The room was small but comfortable. In the future I would book a king room. While eating in Rick's, Guy came over and introduced himself. Throughout the stay he was available if I had any questions or needed anything. They do not stock the minibar in the room, but provide a 1.5liter botle of water and a few snacks in the room for purchase. My only negative, and it is a small one, was that they did not automatically restock any used items and I had to ask for that to be done. The maids were good and any request for extra towels was immediately taken care of. Checkout was easy and smooth and they properly included my CRT discount.

Conclusion:
My first choice always has been, and always will be Sportsmens. I stayed there the first month they were open, and it is just a special place to me. But as an alternative, I would have no problem booking Dunn Inn again. My stay there was enjoyable, the staff treated me great, and the have good food on premeises.
