I've had decent experiences at Maritza's - its just down the street from "Relax" and "Eros" (but never got the idea ANYTHING was on the menu other than haircut, manicure, pedicure, et al - If I'm laboring under a misconception, let me know - but I doubt it!).
I don't recommend them for a manicure, pedicure, shave or facial - and the "topless" place has gone the way of allowing guests at the Presidente - has not been around for years.
In the mall across from the old NY Bar, there is a barbershop - fair warning to the 'phobes, the guys who work there are ass slaming gay - but they give a good haircut; the mainicurist is Colombian, very nice rack, and does a good job - reasonable too.
PS Just to show different strokes for different (you get it) - I thought Roy (had a shop for years in the Dunn Inn) was the worst barber I ever experienced - I would not let him groom my dog - RIP, but I thought he sucked, and never understood the guys who LOVED his services or his personality, for that matter. He was a dweeb
