Will Dunn Inn still have their happy hour drink prices? I'm CR bound Superbowl weekend, mainly SL, but enjoyed Dunn Inn bar my last visit...

Just to give my 2 cents. I was lucky enough to be there for the soft opening. I had a great time.

I want to thank Boyd and all the Dunn Inn staff for a great time. I look forward to my next trip and hope to be able to get a room with them - since I think they will be in great demand. Some great girls and some great games (football, that is) the first night.

Any decision on match play coupons?

What about match play coupons? You can get and use a $25 match play once each day at the Horshoe and I think VB mentioned there is a similar deal at the Colonial.

First to Senordos.... The Colonial only offers a $25matchplay at their casino in the Sleep Inn which opens at 3pm. I would think that Boyd will offer it once he gets going.

Next to Srilm... I'd be very suprised if Boyd doesn't allow double down on ANY two cards. Also I've spent a lot of time (not recently though) in Vegas and I never saw a game of blackjack where you can double down after splitting Aces. (one card only)

Double downs always except split aces. I used Stanford Wong´s Vegas blackjack survey to set my rules. About 75% of the casinos are using my exact set. Also we have far better rulñes than any other place dsown here which was the whole point.

We are still working out what our full promotions will be. They will be fair and based on avg hand size and amount of play.

Jack Binion has not ran the downtown Horseshoe since he moved his operation to Tunica. His sister Becky ran it after that. We are talking 10-12 years ago. Also most of Vegas pays 6/5 on Blackjack now instead of 3/2 . 3/2 is a much better game.

I had dinner at the Dunn Inn last night, the meal was very good and the staff very nice. I used my CRT card no questions asked. All in all Dunn Inn and staff made a good impression on me. Take this as a recommendation!! Looked in the casino, me not being a gambler I did not feel it a place to get my feet wet, but the place is well furnished and seems to be first class. Once I get some skills I'll be back. Tried my hand at three card poker at another place and ended up doing well. I want to learn black jack at a 1000colon table so if anyone has some suggestions let me know thanks.

That's the first time I've seen the Costa Rica Single Male website. It's pretty handy for the new guys arriving in San Jose. Nice pics of the Dunn Inn, too.

Y'all have your interests and agendas, and they look well-catered-to. Personally, I can't wait to hear what live music Brother BKTuna runs up in there. Lord, please give me a reason to avoid the Key Largo.
