Pool too....

Noticed this too when I was there last week, but didn't really care. I also noticed a lot more Ticos in the BM while I was there. The girls were NOT impressed.

As for some of the Ticos that hang at a table in the back, they are friends with some of the girls and one I am told is the bf of one of the working girls . This comes from a girl I know fairly well.

While some look a little shady, I have never seen them cause a problem and I was introduced to them a while back and they seemed friendly...

i hate pool ....dosnt matter if its in the us or san jose ....yes i suck at it but i dont want to be good at it.....i have seen more bullshit fights and people getting in each other's face around pool tables then places with out them ...and its gives then a stick in their hands no less ....most people who play in bars ....are drinking...want to act like a bad ass in front of girls ....or make a big deal about who is next ...."or you bumped me when I was making my shot" my vote ( i am sure no one cares) take the damm thing out and put a stripper dance pole in !!!!

Yeah, I don't really have a problem with them, but the girls in HDR weren't happy to see them, that's for sure.

Chilimike, now that is a GREAT idea. I will bring it up to Bill when I'm down there. I think he would sell more drinks if there were a stripper pole. Plus some of those girls need the exercise.

The other night I was having dinner with my favorita and she tells me how she is more stressed as of late doing what she does and that her mother will find out. I ask why what has happened and she lists a number of things but one of them was that more and more Ticos are coming into the SL who she knows, pointed out one in particular that lives very close to her mother and knows her. She talked about going finding a normal type job (which is what she apparently tells her mother) or going somewhere else to work.

She has always told me that her mother would never approve and would take her K*D. Not sure what’s involved in doing that in CR. I’ve told her more than once not to underestimate her mom that she may know or suspect. Mom watches her K*D while she is working, she regularly takes off when Aunt Flo comes to visit, etc.

BigBambu- your only a sun tan away from being a tico yourself. Man, if I could spend %10 of the time you do in CR....
