When I arrived in Feb they told me the prices went up a few weeks ago.Still not a bad deal considering the location.

I found an email to the mgr. at troyano111@hotmail.com got me the best rate which included tax and breakfast. He was most prompt in his replies, as well. I did not, however, stay at the hotel and cancelled the reservation. The VIP discount at Castillo or La Amistad beat the deal by not only a few dollars, but by being away from downtown....if even 1km or such....

Looks like my newbie wingman is gonna pony up the extra bucks and get his own room. I actually and still might check into Castillo or Amistad after I go to check them out on my first day in town. In any case in 10 days at this time I will be having a great time.
