My memory somewhat vague, but was there not a discussion about Hol Inn being owned by the Mormon Sect :?:

So it would be OK to check in with 4 wives, even if some are in a lower age bracket. like 14-18  :?

But NOT with one consenting adult female not your wife :o

Cynic

How does me walking pass the hotel have ANYTHING to do with what a PAID membership lists?

Ah my friend you have either a short, or more likely a convenient memory, and forgot the post where you gave a review of the Hotel Morazan. When questioned as to how you made your conclusion without ever having stayed there your reply was I have walked by it.

That is the reference Paco and I alluded to

Obviously I walked in the damn place and took a tour.

Still, you feel the need to bring up a statement made 2 years ago. When your whole argument is about about time, and how things have changed?

Just giving a run down on what Ive gathered from walking past, reading on various internet hotel sites, and from the chicas.

Whats obvious is you failed to mention taking a tour of the hotel but did mention 3 other sources for forming your opinion.

Surprising your memory is so much better 2 years after the fact. :P :P :P

Feel free to answer the second part of the question at any time. How is it relevant to any of this?

I asked a question, you posted nothing useful at all.
A tad bit obsessed with your post count?

No problem man. Spin post history anyway you want but remember what you wrote some time back is still there. Readily available to anyone who uses the search function.

My obsession is accurate info and owning up to what you have posted in the past.

What is yours?

$40 "guest" fee per girl you bring to your room.

Geezus, they should be arrested for that...

Actually Cujo, you bring up an interesting question for discussion.

At what point does a guest fee stop simply covering extra linen/cleaning costs etc. and become "profiting from prostitution?" The latter is of course, illegal in C.R.

Yes, I agree with Irish Drifter that the hotel's intent may well be to discourage guests from bringing hookers into their hotel. However, the H.I. could easily simply ban working girls (a la the Gran Hotel Costa Rica) if their sole aim was to keep their property family friendly. And, a certain number of guests will pay the ridiculous fee...thus putting money into the hotel's bank. Without the prostitute, there would be no $40.00 fee, thus it could be inferred that the H.I. Aurola is indeed profiting from prostitution. Pimp-Daddy Holiday Inn.

I have always considered a small guest fee to be reasonable, particularly if the hotel expends resources (cleaning, towels, security checks). To me, the $10.00 fee at the HDR is kind of shady, but I could see how the management there could justify a small, reasonable fee. But $40.00?

I generally leave American corporations behind when I come to C.R. on purpose. I don't eat at Mickey D's, I don't watch CNN, I mainly smoke local cigarettes/cigars...and I don't stay at Holiday Inns... Your needs and tastes may differ. The forty buck extortion is just another reason I'll avoid the SJ H.I..

Like the Holiday Inn."
