Have had hotels and rental car companies put a "hold" on my credit card but never an airline.

Every time I have booked a flight on AA my credit card was charged immediately.

Me too. Hotels, well...that is a different story. Just as a side note, if you reserve a room at the Del Rey they put the hold on the card about 2 weeks in advance.

I haven't figured out for sure what has happened but suddenly there are AA miles availble aniversary party weekend.Must me a new Miami flight or something.There is no new nonstop from Dallas .That was the reason I was hoping for. Either way good news for folks with miles and no ticket yet.rbc100
