Ok, here is the latest.

HLH is open for business with a few girls there. They are repairing the doors that were knocked down. Eddy was not on site during the raid. Eduardo and Isabell were taken to a court and then released. The girls were taken for questioning and released.

I am not absolutely certain of all the details but the above should be correct.

Hopefully, all will be back to the same old same old shortly.

WTF? There was a recent raid or something?

Last "raid" I heard about was the closure due to not being handicapped accessible or was it fire code violations?

Just do some reading. There are at least 2 active threads about it.

Yeah I got an email this morning with my Inside Costa Rica Newsletter. In big print on the front page it said they raided the place and took a 49 year old female in for what they refer to in Costa Rica as "pimping" because the girl or girls brought her $50.00. They used another word in the article for pimping in ticoism. Ticos with their own lingo and all. Also stated there were two Nicas in the place and the rest of the girls were all Ticas. Not more than 25 girls in the place at the time.

I hope none of the girls got caught up. Thats really to bad. Right on schedule before Semana Santa.

Good News Bad News.

maybe there will be about 25 to 30 new indys added to the DR, SL, KL mix.

Hope none of the SL girls went back and got caught up.

fitty

To all those familar with this practice in Costa Rica, should I be looking for a new lodging spot for my May jump-off?? Damn cops are a f*cking problem worldwide!!! :x :x

If I may amend Brother NatureBoi2009's rant just a bit--Politicians who are the cops lords-and-masters are are the freaking problem worldwide. Are the cops gonna say "NO!" to them? Doubtful. Now maybe the cops show more enthusiasm sometimes than is justified...

They won't knock down any doors to get a suspected murderer or mugger, but if there may be prostitution going on, they will rip off the door frame to temporarily disrupt it.

Am I the only who sees something off about that?

Chicas are tougher than most murderers and quite possibly, most muggers both of whom seek and prey on "soft targets". Remember, cops have women at home they have to deal with--they know how an enraged woman will act. SWAT team with full-body armor is the only way to go. Ask the experts here about responding to domestic disputes--most would rather go against a psychopathic male killer.

Yea, I think I'll take my chances fending off a tica spinner versus a psycho male killer.

I think the reason for the full-on assault was that they received a "tip" that there was an und***ge girl working there. They went in gunning for bear, hoping to catch a gringo in the act, which would have been a huge prize for them.

you can check out the full artical at:
http://www.undercovercostarica.com/2010 ... avana.html

I do love this part:

Teletica and Diario Extra both reported that police interrupted a foreign client, possibly from Jamaica who was having a session with five women at the same time. Given the structure of approximately $50 each as stated by the news report in Diario Extra it can be inferred that the man paid $250 for his fantasy, which was interrupted by the police.

five women?? what the hell.

That's one for each finger of one hand + three on the other, leaving a thumb and 1 other to grip the beer bottle. Way to play it Brother!
