Hey Guys,

I booked a room at the SL for Dec but I only got a reservation #. Should I have asked what room I was staying in? How do you guys find that out? or is that only for the New Wing? Thanks for the info ! 8)

Depends on what room type you booked but they should be able to tell you the name of the room.

Just call the hotel back and ask them which room they have you in. The reservations are kept in a big green log book with your name written next to your room.

i just ame back and in 7 nights they moved me 4 times....so your guess of which room you will be staying...is only a guess !! if they put you in the courtyard....you wont be happy....to be that price for those rooms isnt a deal for us...rooms are out dated, you not only hear every word that is said at night but you wont sleep past 7.00....the new wing room are worth the price but courtyard should be 45 a night or less...

i am specific about the room i want.
if that room is unavailable for a day or 2, they'll tell you that you will need to move.
i have found that they will do thei very best to work with you.

Yes, actually my room is booked in the Courtyard. I figured for my inaugural trip staying at the Lodge was a necesity even if the rooms are a bit loud. Nothing a pair of good ear plugs won't fix. I'm not much of a light sleeper anyways.

As usual, Thanks for the Info !

I really think staying at the HDR is mandatory for your first trip but you can't go wrong at the SL.

Enjoy!

Why do you think that Spanky? Just for the ease of it? Or for the sheer awe of it? I have never stayed there, which is why I'm asking. I have never even seen the rooms. Are they nice? Do they have "suites"? I like the chill vibe at SL, A LOT.

For a first trip the shock and awe of the HDR is priceless. After that, you would not catch me staying there. While some like it I can't stand the place as some place to stay. I prefer the quieter hotels much like yourself. :D

I would agree that the "Shock and Awe" will be intense. But I would prefer to bring the "Shock" back to the more low key establishment. Just a preference I guess :D

Honestly I wouldn't stay at the HDR for free. I've seen a standard room once and thought it was garbage.
The SL is a much better choice for a newbie and anyone for that matter. I remember this last short stay how many chicas told me how nice it was to be in a nice room with a guy they like. Since I do all my phucking in my room, I make it a big deal to have a decent place to lay down at night.

One thing is for sure, that place would never be at the HDR...

Chilimike,

Was it them that moved you or were you unhappy with some of the rooms and wanted to move? Yes I heard about the courtyard rooms and would not want to stay there. If they moved me I would of demanded some type of concession for the inconvience even across the hall. I move myself sometimes too if I don't like a room. I wanted to stay there on my last trip but no good rooms left. When I checked it out my first visit at 5:30PM when I left the courtyard was packed all the way around with nice young looking chicas for the taking. My kind of place.

Thanks,
Dave

Same here Jad. I like a nice room for me and my chicas and have done and will continue to search out for nice ones in any # of destinations (Lima, Cartagena, Medellin, SJO, PTY etc.). I like to sleep nice and secure after a good long phucks.

Yea Im on board with the nicer place to stay. While Im definitely an SL guy, JOsie and some others have me pretty intrigued by La Amistad. Might have to scope it out next trip. Plus only a block away, I can still get my "Carol gawking" in just nicely

Speaking of Cujo....did you plant THOSE seeds??

Ah, as I said in my room report. This dog has learned a new trick and that is; I need to stay on the DL about all that so everything stays exactly the way it is.
