I remember when the disscussions on which hotel was the best were dominated by the Pres and the Delrey, and this catagory was littered with these names along with a few others. sometimes the threads got a little over zealous and down right nasty at times .
I think the controversy showed interest and enthusiasm that now seems to be gone.
do you think that many have accepted the fate of the very prosperous hotel-presidente and have moved on? or do you think it's business as usual but low key? Maybe the walk of shame was to much.

Presidente remains very popular with members of CRT. I think the discussion has kind of faded as it has been the topic of so many threads so many times that most veterans of the board simply do not post about the place and do not get involved with threads about the dress code, one chica rule, etc.

MAn, you guys are rough. Break a brothers bubble why dont you. I am new but have been reading a lot. Too much really to remember all of the fine points. I remembered something about Presidente's policies, but didnt realize about the one chica maximum. Just this morning my ever changing plans included a last night blowout in a Presidente Spa room with large jacuzzi for 3 or 4. O will back to plans C,D,E,and F. Is this policy still in effect? Any other places with the large in room Jacuzzi's? Their rate is $125 which I would have done for a treat. Any other's?

Yes, still in effect. How much would it have sucked to get there with 3 hot chicas in tow, ready for a wild party, and be refused entry to two of them. PICK ONE! :P

Some of the new wing rooms at Sportsmens (SL) have jacuzzis and the there's the $250/night penthouse there. It has 2 jacuzzis.

I am fond of the rules at the Presidente. It does give the place a bit of respectability. Any more, one chica is all I can handle. To me, the added rules make the fantasy seem slightly more like a GFE. I have stayed in or visited rooms in many places in SJ and I truly believe the Presidente has the best, if you get the member discount. Don't get me wrong, I really like the club atmosphere of the SL, but I don't think the rooms compare. I always visit the SL and give Bill some bar business and take a look around at the selection of brown lipped oysters.

The chica check-in is simply a great safety procedure to me. If a girl would split with something of mine at least there would be a small path to recourse and it can serve as a deterrent to those activities.

Good point also if she can be checked into the Presidente you know she has not caused trouble or stolen something from someone else. If she had she would be on the "blacklist" and barred.

I had always stayed at the Presidente on my several previous visits but could not get a room for my just completed trip Aug 1st. So, I stayed at the Clarion Amon and enjoyed it so much I just booked my October trip there also. Everyone there was very friendly with no chica hussles at all. My friend brought back 2 chicas and had no problems either. No fees or dress code.

Did you book through the casino? My understanding is there is a chica fee if you direct book through the hotel.

yes you have to book thru Nixon in the casino to get a $70 rate on a standaed room or $90 for a jr suite that includes tax, breakfast, and no chica fees. Upon arrival you need to go directly to the casino and pay for your stay--they give you a voucher to take to the hotel check-in to get your room key. I really enjoyed the location-only a block down from Zona Blue and a short walk to the SL and new Fantasy. Also in the evening the cab fare from the Del Rey was the same to go back to the Clarion as it was to the Presidente.
