I have a group of buddies staying at the Del rey in about a month. Any other good spots we can safely walk to at night or is Blue marlin our best bet? We will only be in SJ for the night.

That's such a broad question. There's several different places you can walk to at night, especially since you have a whole group of guys. Most of the places, you don't want to walk to at night if you're alone, but with several of you, it increases your range.

Use the "Search" function at the top of the page, and you'll find everything you need to know. But if you're only in town for one night, you're going to be limited as to what you'll be able to do, or how many places you can go.

If you're only in SJ for one day, I think it's safe to say you and your buddies should walk around the DR all night, but be careful, you might get molested by some hot young chica.

Walk around all night long till the sun comes up! I love the Del Rey!!

It's pretty safe walking to the cash station by yourself, if you need some cash.

Too bad you're only in San Jose for one night. That really limits things. Keep in mind you will also have available the Key Largo and Monkey Bar which are both across the street from the Del Rey and also the New York Bar which is about 50 yards down the street from the Del Rey.
