I always find the pool at the Irauzu Best Western to be cold. Can anyone recommend a hotel pool that is comfortable in San Jose. I know that women are our main objectives, but I like both. Thanks.

The Europa has a pool, it's surrounded by tall buildings and I hear it's ok when the sun is directly above it. :)

And where can a guy take chicas skinny dipping?

Outdoor pools up in the central valley are all probably going to be a little chilly. The Holiday Inn across the Park from the KL has an indoor pool. Couldn't say how comfortable it is but the hotel itself is not that chica-friendly ($20 guest fee). Where are your priorities? I also recall reading somewhere here about a hotel out in Heredia that has an indoor pool (the Contessa?). I'm sure there must be others that are closer than that. Personally, I think you're nuts. Who goes to CR to swim in a pool?

Have stayed for prolonged visits at Apartotel La Sabana , with a great pool , very cool , but with sunshine 10AM-- 3PM to sunbathe and warm up.

I find that about 10 laps in that cool pool before my chica arrives is greatly invogorating--- and sobering

Whenever my CR family youngsters get into the pool, I can never get them out. They just love it, and I finally have to force them out when they start shivering and 'turning blue' 8)

Then it is up to the apartment, a hot shower, some hot soup, snuggle under the blankets--- and a half hour later, they are ready to go back into that "COOL" pool

Cygnus
