A complaint heard frequently is that Taca will leave luggage behind so that they can carry more higher revenue cargo on the flight.

Evidently Taca has decided they needed to do something to counter this problem. I received their news letter on Monday and they have a new luggage guarantee. If 2 pieces of checked baggage does not arrive on the same flight as you they will give you a coupon for a $50.00 credit on your next flight.
