I hope this post is ok under this topic. My last post advised that DR was so kind as to book me into Morazan at $70 per night as they were booked. I faxed them my cc info last night. I just got an email from DR that a large group booked all the remaining rooms at Morazan and he can get me a room at Hotel Balmoral for the same price. Most of what I have read about the Balmoral have left me feeling iffy about the place. Does anyone have a plan C or D that I should consider. Should I just book myself into almost any room for the first night and hope for the best. I allready have my air travel booked. Thanks mongers for any thoughts. Zacktigr

Try the Hotel Gran Via or the Hotel Europa on Calle Central, at about $45 a night.
The Balmoral has a $20 guest fee at last report.
