Figured this was easier than asking which rooms to get. But looks like playing chess since some rooms are occupied some days. What names of rooms should one avoid at SL? And do they have connecting rooms? Im traveling down with a friend

I personally avoid any rooms in the Courtyard. Just too much noise until the bar closes and also in the AM.

I don't know if they connect but the Club House rooms share a pretty good size common area. Pretty isolated from the bar noise but sometimes you can here outside street / patio activity.

I think “Pura Vida” which is in the bar, next to the kitchen.

But, I guess it all depends on your perspective. I once saw a group of young dudes arrive and they couldn’t believe their good fortune at getting rooms that opened up to the bar. They were racing around looking at each others rooms, high fiving, and saying how awesome their setup was. They were in heaven.

Ditto, nothing on the courtyard...clubhouse rooms close to the bar.
Don't like the noise

Pura Vida is Not connected to the bar at all, in fact it’s my preferred room do to it’s proximity to everything. I also like that it opens up to a sitting area away from the bar.

Ok, which one is Pura Vida and which one is next to the kitchen? Is it, “Buena Vida,” that’s next to the kitchen?

I just went on the website and many of these rooms offer a, “walking shower.” That should keep you entertained. I prefer rooms with a walk-in shower, but if you want your shower walking, let us know how that works.

Yeah I would have to agree that the courtyard/bar area is the least desirable due to the noise. But it's super convenient and fun if you're with your boys. Clubhouse rooms are preferred since its the closest with some privacy. The mansion rooms in the back are okay but have some issues with the WiFi sometimes.

My first trip I stayed in Amor, which is the tiny room in the corner in the bar area. I thought it was awesome but then the noise got to me. But I would still recommend staying there for your first few nights and then ask for a walk through in the following morning to see what you like.
